Summary
Royal Decree 85/2026 replaces the previous training curriculum from Royal Decree 1079/2012 with a new professional certificate for lift installation and maintenance. It sets out curricula for levels A and B, aiming to modernise vocational training in the sector. Firms failing to update training within the deadline may be fined up to 7,500 EUR (art. 4).
