Malaga has transformed from a coastal holiday destination into one of southern Europe’s most vibrant international business hubs. The tech ecosystem around Malaga’s port district — home to Google, Oracle and dozens of high-growth startups — coexists with an expat community of over 80 nationalities that has made the Costa del Sol a permanent base. BMC opened its Malaga office on C/ Luigi Cherubini to serve both profiles: the tech entrepreneur setting up operations in Spain, and the international resident managing their Spanish tax affairs.

The Malaga team specialises in tax regimes relevant to people moving to Spain or holding assets here without being tax residents: the impatriate regime known as the Beckham Law, non-resident income tax (IRNR), NIE and residence permit applications, and the legal structuring of real estate purchases by non-residents. We also advise local startups and SMEs on company formation, employment contracts and access to public funding instruments.

The office is located minutes from Malaga’s historic centre and international airport, making it convenient for local clients and those visiting the Costa del Sol. We hold meetings in Spanish and English, and can accommodate other European languages depending on team availability.
