Royal Decree 397/2026 repeals RD 96/2019 and amends the judicial mutual insurance regulations by adding Section 6 to Chapter V. Officials must adapt their mutual insurance scheme within 3 months, otherwise fines of up to 15,000 euros will be applied for non-compliance (Art. 5). This change reorganises the social protection system for justice officials, aligning it with Law 40/2015.
Court Administration officials must update their mutual insurance schemes within 3 months. Failure to do so will result in fines of up to €15,000.
