Biography

Raquel Dominguez Pardo has spent nine years focused exclusively on employment law, a specialty that demands both technical mastery of labour regulation and real negotiating ability in high-pressure environments. She joined BMC in 2020 from a Barcelona boutique firm specialising in employment law, where she handled some of the most complex restructuring proceedings in the Catalan industrial sector during the peak period of pandemic-era ERTE suspensions.

At BMC she manages the full spectrum of employment law: individual and collective dismissals, ERE and ERTE proceedings, the design and implementation of equality plans, and social security audits. She has negotiated with works committees across sectors as different as retail, manufacturing, and hospitality, finding in each case the point of balance between the company’s interests and the demands of employee representatives. Her approach prioritises agreement and conflict prevention, though when contentious proceedings are unavoidable she represents clients before SMAC mediation services and the social jurisdiction courts with equal rigour.
