Adrian Torres Blanco

Adrian has four years of experience in indirect taxation and international trade. He joined BMC in 2024, specialising in VAT advisory for companies with international supply chains.

His work covers intra-community declaration management, VAT representation for non-established companies in Spain, and registration and compliance under the OSS and IOSS regimes for cross-border e-commerce. He advises companies on recovering input VAT charged in other EU member states through the Directive 2008/9/EC refund mechanism, coordinating with local correspondents in the relevant countries.

Before joining BMC, he worked in the tax department of a logistics group, managing customs declarations, excise duties, and tariff classification. That hands-on experience in a high-volume operational environment gives him a practical understanding of VAT that goes beyond formal compliance: he grasps how tax decisions affect supply chain flows and the cost base of the businesses he advises.
