The General Directorate of the Treasury and Financial Policy has published the public debt auction calendar for 2026 and January 2027, in accordance with Order ECM/2/2026. Unless otherwise specified, ordinary auctions will take place on the first and third Thursday of each month. The announcement of securities offered will be made on the Friday preceding each auction to align issuance with market preferences.
For Primary Market Members registered with the Bank of Spain, payment for awarded securities will be made on the issue and circulation date via debit to their designated account. For all other participants, the payment date will be the business day prior to circulation, until 14:00. Market Makers will have access to an exclusive second round between the auction resolution and 12:00 on the business day prior to circulation.
