The Directorate General for Professional Regulation has announced the aptitude test for EU healthcare professionals requiring compensatory measures for the recognition of qualifications in General Nursing and Physiotherapy (First). The test will take place on 2 June 2026 at the Ministry of Health headquarters in Madrid (Second). The call includes those who, as of the publication date, hold a resolution conditional upon passing said test (Third).
For EU healthcare professionals with foreign qualifications that show training differences compared to the Spanish system, this call is the necessary step to obtain professional recognition (First). Applicants must communicate their intention to participate at least one week before the test date (Fifth). Those with disabilities requiring adaptations must submit official certification within one week of publication (Thirteenth).
