MON 810 maize commercializers: obligation for monitoring and specific labeling of transgenic varieties

Order APA/240/2026 includes new varieties in the Commercial Varieties Registry, classifying them as commercial, conservation, or export varieties (art. 1, 2 and 3). For the genetically modified maize variety MON 810, a mandatory Monitoring Plan is imposed, including annual sales reporting and resistance assessment (art. 4).
