Call for applications to select 25 representatives for the Gypsy Women's Network

A selection process has been launched to appoint 25 representatives to the Gypsy Women's Network, established by Council of Ministers Agreement on 23 December 2025. The selection comprises 20 positions for associations and entities, and 5 positions for expert Gypsy women of recognised prestige (Art. 1). Appointees will serve a three-year term (Art. 4, No. 5 of the Council of Ministers Agreement).

How it affects those involved

For associations and entities, participation requires a minimum of two years of existence and a national scope of operation or territorial/sectoral pre-eminence (Art. 2.2 and 3). For expert Gypsy women, the process is based on the accreditation of professional or academic competence in matters relating to improving the living conditions of Gypsy women (Art. 2). Failure to meet requirements or providing false information in a CV may lead to exclusion from the process (Art. 2.5 and 6).
