Electricity transmission companies: final remuneration established for the 2023 financial year

The CNMC has established the remuneration for companies holding electricity transmission facilities for the year 2023 (Art. 1). This resolution allows for the adjustment of settlements for the 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 financial years based on the determined final remuneration (Art. 4.1). The total amount of remuneration for the 2023 financial year amounts to 1,471,297,839 euros (Art. 1).

How it affects those involved

For transmission companies (Red Eléctrica de España, SA, Grupo Naturgy, and Vall de Sóller Energía, SLU), the resolution sets the final amounts they may settle or collect (Art. 1). The body responsible for settlements must adjust the 2024, 2025, and 2026 annual payments based on these new values (Art. 4.1). These amounts will be considered settleable income or costs within the electricity system (Art. 4.2).
