Summary

Galicia's Law 1/2026 sets a three-month deadline for companies with more than 10 employees to transition to electronic shift records, otherwise fines of up to €7,500 per worker apply. This aims to modernise shift management and improve transparency in working hours tracking. The rule is part of the Statute approved by Organic Law 1/1981 of 6 April and was published in DOG no. 28 of 11 February 2026 (art. 4).
