Ebro river users: new fees for navigation and floating activities in the public water domain

The Ebro Hydrographic Confederation has established the fees applicable to the use of the public water domain for navigation and floating activities requiring administrative authorisation (Resolution of 14 January 2026). This resolution is issued in accordance with the Water Act and the Public Water Domain Regulations, updating the amounts for the exploitation of these resources (ref. BOE index).

How it affects those involved

Economic operators and individuals conducting navigation or floating activities in the Ebro basin under an authorisation regime must pay the fees set by this resolution. The impact is primarily economic for the holders of such authorisations, who must adjust their operating costs according to the new amounts established for carrying out these activities in the public water domain (ref. BOE index).
