CNMC and University of Barcelona sign agreement for curricular academic internships

The National Commission on Markets and Competition (CNMC) and the University of Barcelona have formalised a cooperation agreement for the undertaking of curricular academic internships (Annex). The agreement is strictly for training purposes; therefore, it does not create an employment, civil, or commercial relationship, nor does it incur any cost for the CNMC (Clause 1). Students must be registered with the General Social Security Scheme during their internships (Clause 12).

How it affects those involved

Regarding risks, students must be covered by School Insurance or, if they are over 28, hold their own accident insurance (Clause 12).
