Board of Directors of the Port Authority of Alicante: new rules on representation and management of conflicts of interest

The Port Authority of Alicante is amending its internal operating rules to regulate the delegation of representation for board members and the management of conflicts of interest (Arts. 18 and 19). Representation may only be conferred in writing via the Electronic Office to other board members and for specific sessions (Art. 18). Furthermore, it establishes the obligation to submit a signed Declaration of Absence of Conflict of Interest (DACI) for each session (Art. 19.3).

In the event of a conflict of interest, the director must abstain and withdraw from the session (Art. 19.3). Individuals invited to sessions are also subject to this declaration duty (Art. 19.3).
