CNMC determines incentive indicator values for the gas system technical manager for 2025

The CNMC has established the values for indicators (I 1 to I 7) that will be used to calculate the incentive-based remuneration for the gas system technical manager (GTS) for the 2025 gas year. This determination follows the methodology set out in Circular 1/2020 and Circular 6/2021, integrating results from system efficiency and management indicators (Art. 1 and 2).

In 2 key points

  1. The values for indicators I 1 to I 6 for the 2025 gas year are established, including conflict management and efficiency (Art. 1). (art. 1)
  2. The value of indicator I 7 for the 2025 gas year is set at 0.86 (Art. 2). (art. 2)

How it affects those involved

For the gas system technical manager, these values define the amount of their variable remuneration, which may be positive or negative depending on performance regarding access conflict indicators, IT incidents, compression efficiency, and imbalance management (Art. 1). For the gas sector, these indicators reflect the quality of technical management and the operational efficiency of the system during the 2025 period.
