In compliance with Law 41/1999 on payment systems and securities settlement, the Bank of Spain has published the official list of entities participating in TARGET-Bank of Spain (Art. 7 of Law 41/1999). The list reflects the status of participants as of the cutoff date of 31 March 2026. This resolution is a necessary transparency measure to identify the entities authorised to operate within said payment system.
For financial institutions and system participants, the resolution confirms their official status as operators in TARGET-Bank of Spain. For the financial sector and the clients of these entities, it guarantees the traceability of institutions operating under the framework of Law 41/1999 within securities settlement and payment systems.
