Money Exchange, SA and its directors: fines for serious breaches of fitness and internal control requirements

The Bank of Spain has published the final sanctions imposed on Money Exchange, SA and three members of its Board of Directors for serious infringements (Art. 115.5 Law 10/2014). The breaches involve failures to meet fitness and propriety requirements and registration in the Register of Senior Management (Art. 93.t), as well as deficiencies in organisational structure and internal control mechanisms (Art. 93.p). The applied fines already include a 40% reduction under the provisions of Law 39/2015.
