Deusto University students: opportunity for external academic internships at the CNMC

The CNMC and the University of Deusto have signed an educational cooperation agreement for the provision of external academic internships (Annex). The agreement is strictly for training purposes; therefore, it does not create an employment, civil, or commercial relationship, nor does it involve any cost for the CNMC (clause 1). The internships are aimed at students in the final two years of their Bachelor's degree or Master's/specialised studies related to the CNMC's field of activity (clause 2).

In 3 key points

  1. The internships are not of an employment, civil, or commercial nature, and do not incur any cost for the CNMC, clause 1. (cláusula 1)
  2. The internships do not count as merit for the civil service or for seniority, clause 1. (cláusula 1)
  3. The CNMC will notify the agreement to the State Electronic Registry within 5 working days of its formalisation, clause 14. (cláusula 14)

How it affects those involved

For University of Deusto students, this establishes a pathway for practical training at the CNMC, although these internships will not count as merit for access to the civil service or for seniority (clause 1). For the CNMC, the agreement entails no financial burden (clause 1).
