Current position

The tax relief applies to income derived from housing leases, excluding SOCIMI dividends or deposit income. For the lease to be considered an economic activity, it is required to hire at least one person under a full-time employment contract. The entity must have the leasing of at least 8 dwellings as its main activity.

The DGT's position remains constant regarding the definition of eligible assets and income. Greater precision is observed in the requirement of operational conditions to validate the economic activity, such as the need for personnel under an employment contract and full-time working hours.

Turning points
