BMC One · Guided migration
Guided migration: your history in BMC One, loaded and matched by our team
If you come from another adviser or other software, you do not start from scratch or retype anything. You give us the export from your current software; our team converts it, tests it without loading anything and only signs it off once it matches.
First meeting free. BMC One comes with every BMC engagement, at no separate fee.
Scope
What we migrate
-
Accounting
Chart of accounts, opening entry, the full journal and earlier closed years.
-
Fixed assets
Each asset with its accumulated depreciation and its useful life or annual rate.
-
Issued invoices

Your received-invoice book, with suppliers created and ready for Form 347.
-
Staff
The employer company and each employee with their Social Security number, employer account, group, contract, collective agreement and salary.
-
Working-time records
The clock-ins from your time-tracking system or your previous provider.
-
Bank
Statements in Norma 43, CSV or Excel, from any bank.
-
Customers and contacts
Your customers and contacts from a CSV, with no duplicates by tax ID or email.
Process
How we do it
-
Scope
In the first meeting we look at which software you come from, which years you need and which data.
-
Export
You or your previous adviser export the data from your software; we tell you which files we need.
-
Conversion and dry run
Our team converts the export and validates it in test mode: nothing is loaded until it matches.
-
Load and match
We load each block in order: accounts, years, opening entry, journal, invoices and staff. Issued-invoice totals match to the cent.
-
Ready in BMC One
You see your history in BMC One and we keep working from there.

-
From Holded to BMC One

- With what
- Loading of the issued and received invoice books
-
A subsidiary that arrives with staff
- The problem
- The Spanish subsidiary already has employees registered through another adviser.

- With what
- Loading of staff and working-time records
What we do and what we do not
What we do
- Bring over your accounting, issued and received invoices, staff and clock-ins
- Test every batch before loading it
- Match issued-invoice totals to the cent
What we do not do
- Import historical payslips: we load the staff and new payslips are calculated in BMC One
- Connect directly to A3, Sage, ContaSol or Holded: we always start from your software's export
