BMC employment team

Our team sends the starters and leavers you request from Employment to the TGSS. The mailbox of our Sistema RED authorisation is collected every hour, from 8:00 to 20:00.

What it solves

What happens to you, and what BMC One does

Six problems that come up every month, each one next to the screen that resolves it.

“I keep my receipts in a drawer until the end of the quarter.”

You take a photo, it is read automatically and, once you confirm it, it is booked.

In BMC One: Expenses

“Customers pay me late and I have to remember to chase every invoice.”

If you switch them on, anyone who has not paid receives a reminder 3, 7, 14 and 21 days after the due date.

In BMC One: Invoicing

“An employee asks me for their March payslip and it is lost somewhere in my email.”

All payslips are in BMC One with their PDF, and you send it from there.

In BMC One: Employment › Payslips

And three more

“The collective agreement changes and I do not know whether I am paying correctly.”

We read the tables in REGCON. You validate the new ones through a link and the back pay goes into the next payslip.

In BMC One: Employment › Agreement and calendar

“Every new hire means a morning of paperwork.”

You request the registration from Employment and our team sends it to the TGSS through the Sistema RED.

In BMC One: Employment › Starters and leavers

“Switching accounting systems worries me.”

Our team brings over your chart of accounts, your journal and your previous invoices in batches, with no retyping.

We keep watch for you

Your agreement, the minimum wage and employment rules, monitored

Every day we sweep the national register of collective agreements and every morning we read the BOE. If your agreement publishes new tables, we write to you with the back pay so that you can decide; everything else goes to the BMC person who manages your account.Your agreement, the minimum wage and the employment BOE, every day. New tables come to you so that you can decide.

Questions about Business Services

What does the payroll portal in BMC One include?

Depending on your engagement, BMC One calculates each payslip under your collective agreement, with income tax withholding adjusted, contributions, sick leave and extra payments, and a person on our employment team issues it. Each payslip is stored as a PDF for you and your employee. Social security contributions come from the payroll, and our team submits starters and leavers through the Sistema RED.

If you prefer to delegate it all, see our payroll services in Spain.

Do my invoices comply with VeriFactu and e-invoicing rules?

BMC One's invoicing is prepared for VeriFactu, the AEAT's verifiable invoicing system: each invoice gets a sequential number in its series, with no gaps, and its journal entry in your books. The connection to VeriFactu, once your company's authorisation of representation is signed, is being fine-tuned. Facturae 3.2.2, the e-invoice format for public authorities, is partial: the file is generated, not yet signed or sent.

Sources: Royal Decree 1007/2023, VeriFactu Regulation (BOE)

What happens when my collective agreement's pay tables change?

Every day we sweep REGCON, the national register of collective agreements. If yours publishes new pay tables, we write to you with the old table next to the new one, who is affected and the estimated back pay. You decide whether it applies and from when, and the differences go into the next payroll: nothing applies without your approval.

Is my accounting kept under the Spanish chart of accounts (PGC)?

Yes. When your company is set up, our team loads the Spanish chart of accounts (PGC) that matches its legal form: SME, abridged, standard or foundations. You do not have to give up your invoicing program: we bring over your chart of accounts, journal and earlier invoices in batches, with no retyping, and you see your books in the portal.

If you prefer us to keep it in full, see outsourced accounting in Spain with BMC.

Can I connect my bank?

Qonto, from your portal; Qonto and Revolut Business, with our team. With the bank connected, an invoice paid with its reference is marked as paid automatically. For any other bank, we load the statement in Norma 43 format (the Spanish bank statement format), and our team reconciles the movements with your invoices and expenses.

Does BMC One work for the self-employed?

Yes. Depending on your engagement, you invoice from BMC One, with invoicing prepared for VeriFactu, upload expenses as a photo or a PDF and see your books in the portal, while our team books them and prepares your quarterly returns. If you have staff, your payroll and social security contributions are there too. BMC One comes with your engagement, at no separate fee.

Which of all this will I have?

It depends on your engagement: expenses, books, invoicing, customers and suppliers, and employment depend on what you engage BMC for. The scope is set out in writing in your engagement letter; once you sign it, we give you access to BMC One. BMC One comes with every BMC engagement, at no separate fee.

Does artificial intelligence decide anything in my accounts?

No. We use it to read your invoices, receipts and pro formas on our own servers, and every figure goes through checks. You confirm every expense; every payslip and every filing is confirmed by a person on our team. No assistant connected to BMC One files with the Tax Agency or Social Security, moves money or signs for you.
