Companies in the Basque Country: 30 days to resolve budget discrepancies 2026

The Bilateral Cooperation Commission between State and Basque Autonomous Community has agreed to initiate negotiations to resolve discrepancies in the Tenth Provision of Law 7/2025 on the Basque Autonomous Community's General Budget for 2026 (art. 1). A 30-day period is established for the parties to meet and define the differences (art. 1.1). The aim is to reach an administrative agreement on the interpretation of the budget before the new allocations take effect.
