Other fishing gear vessels in A Coruña: mackerel quota for 2026 increased to 367,886 kg

The General Secretariat for Fisheries has amended the resolution of 13 March 2026 to increase the adapted mackerel quota (stock MAC/8C3411) in the province of A Coruña to 367,886 kg for the 2026 season (First). This increase follows the amendment of Council Regulation (EU) 2026/249, which raised Spain's initial quota for this stock. The new distribution allocates 183,943 kg to directed fishing (50%) and reserves specific amounts for purse seine and bycatch (Second, Third, and Fourth).
