Other gear vessels in Pontevedra: mackerel quota for 2026 increases to 254,114 kg

The Resolution of 10 April 2026 modifies the management of the mackerel fishery for the other gear fleet (excluding trawling and purse seining) based in the port of Pontevedra. Due to the increase in Spain's initial quota under Regulation (EU) 2026/786, the adapted quota for the province of Pontevedra amounts to 254,114 kg (First). Of this total, 161,541.50 kg are allocated to directed fishing and 92,572.50 kg to by-catch (First).
