Sworn Translator-Interpreter Candidates: publication of the list of successful applicants

The General Technical Secretariat has published the list of candidates declared successful in the compensatory examinations for obtaining the Sworn Translator-Interpreter (First Class) qualification. This resolution, based on the professional qualification recognition procedure, determines whether the submitted applications have been approved or rejected (Third).

In 2 key points

  1. Unsuccessful candidates may apply for successive calls, subject to application (Articles 6 and 12 of Order PRE/189/2016). (Segundo)
  2. A one-month period to lodge an administrative appeal before the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (Articles 121 and 122 of Law 39/2015). (Tercero)

How it affects those involved

For successful candidates, the resolution means their application for professional recognition has been approved (Third). Those not included in the list are declared unsuccessful, though they may apply for future calls (Second). Affected parties have one month to lodge an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) if they deem it necessary (Third).
