The Joint Resolution of the Undersecretariats of Transport and Sustainable Mobility and of Finance authorises the issuance and circulation of two postage stamp series: 'Anniversaries 2026: 50th anniversary of EL PAÍS' and 'Literature 2026: Cervantes Prize' (First). Each stamp will have a postal value of 2 euros and a print run of 65,000 units per series (Second).
For collectors and postal service users, two new philatelic issues are being made available with specific release dates: 16 April 2026 for the EL PAÍS series and 23 April 2026 for the Cervantes Prize series (Second). Distribution at points of sale will end on 31 December 2031, although they will retain their postage value indefinitely (Third.2).
