The Directorate General for Energy Policy and Mines has established new maximum pre-tax selling prices for commercial butane packaged in containers with a capacity of 8 kg or more and less than 20 kg. This resolution is issued in accordance with Order TED/211/2025 and Law 34/1998. The prices will come into force on 17 March 2026.
Butane distributors and marketers are subject to new price limits for containers between 8 kg and 20 kg (excluding fuel mixtures). End consumers will see this adjustment reflected in the retail price from 17 March 2026.
