The call for the 2026 Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) qualification exam for individuals over eighteen years of age has been issued under the Ministry of Education's jurisdiction. This process allows individuals who have achieved basic competencies to obtain the qualification directly (Art. 68.2 LOE). The resolution regulates both the registration process and the review of applications, as well as the publication of candidate lists (Art. 8 and 9).

In 3 key points

  1. Registration deadline is 15:00 on 16 February 2026 (art. 1)
  2. Publication of provisional lists of admitted and excluded candidates from 2 March 2026 (art. 9.1)
  3. Ten working days to submit appeals or corrections following the publication of lists (art. 9.2)

How it affects those involved

For applicants over 18, the regulation establishes the schedule for accessing the ESO qualification, with registration open until 15:00 on 16 February 2026.
