Professional fishing in Alboran: census of vessels authorised for small-scale gear and longline published

The General Secretariat for Fisheries has published the census of vessels authorised for professional fishing in the Alboran fishing ground and its reserve, using small-scale gear, bottom longline, and prawn pots (First). The fishing system will operate on a rotational basis, limiting simultaneous presence to a maximum of five vessels in the fishing ground (Third). This census remains in force until 31 December 2027, with an automatic extension until its next update (Fourth).
