The Ministry of Culture has announced the National Literature Prize in the Dramatic Literature category for works published between 1 January and 31 December 2025 (First). The prize consists of a non-divisible financial award of 30,000 euros (Second). Works created by generative artificial intelligence and collective works by more than three authors are excluded (First).
For Spanish authors, the call allows access to a 30,000 euro recognition for a dramatic work published in 2025 (First, Second). The regulation establishes a strict prohibition on works generated by artificial intelligence (First). The award decision will be submitted to the Ministry of Culture before 10 December 2026 (Sixth).
