Spanish translators: call for applications for the 2026 National Award for Best Translation with a €30,000 prize

The Ministry of Culture has announced the National Award for Best Translation for the year 2026 to recognise literary works first published between 1 January and 31 December 2025 (First). The award, which carries a prize of 30,000 euros, is granted to Spanish translators for works translated into any official language of the State or those recognised by the statutes of autonomy (First). Works created by generative artificial intelligence are expressly excluded (First).
