Government and Biodiversity Foundation urged to speed up fund execution and strengthen anti-fraud controls

The Joint Commission for Relations with the Court of Auditors has approved a resolution adopting the findings of the audit of the Biodiversity Foundation regarding the management of Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan funds during 2021 and 2022. The resolution urges the Government to report on the actual execution of funds and calls on the Ministry for the Ecological Transition to require the Foundation to implement anti-fraud measures and strengthen its internal controls (points 3 and 4).
