Port service companies: update to maximum towing rates in Balearic ports

The Balearic Port Authority has approved an update to the maximum rates for port towing services in the ports of Palma, Alcúdia, Maó, and Eivissa. This revision responds to cost variations, in accordance with Clause 23, paragraph d), of the current Particular Specifications Document. The new rate schedules are annexed to the resolution.

In 3 key points

  1. The update enters into force on the day following its publication in the BOE (Resolución)
  2. One month period to file an optional administrative appeal for reversal (Resolución)
  3. Two month period to file a contentious-administrative appeal (Resolución)

How it affects those involved

For companies providing towing services in the ports of Palma, Alcúdia, Maó, and Eivissa, the resolution establishes the new maximum economic limits they may apply. Users of these port services will see this update reflected in towing costs. The resolution concludes the administrative process, allowing for appeals to be filed within the established legal timeframes.
