Ministry of Finance General Inspectorate assigns new territorial inspection zones

The Undersecretariat of Finance has issued this resolution to assign specific inspection zones within the General Inspectorate services to designated inspectors (First). This measure updates the previous assignment made in May 2024 due to changes in the personnel responsible for these zones (Order HFP/1500/2021). The regulation also allows the Inspector General to delegate functions to an inspector should a zone become vacant (Second).

In 3 key points

  1. 18 territorial inspection zones are assigned to specific inspectors (First) (Primero)
  2. In the event of a vacancy, the Inspector General may delegate functions to another inspector (Second) (Segundo)
  3. Entry into force on the day of its publication in the BOE (Fourth) (Cuarto)

How it affects those involved

The resolution does not alter the administrative structure or taxpayer obligations; rather, it reorganises the internal supervision of the Economy and Finance Delegations. For companies and individuals, the effect is neutral, as it only modifies the assignment of inspectors responsible for supervising the efficiency and quality of territorial services (art. 15.1.a RD 206/2024).
