The amendment to the Statutes of the La Plana Voluntary Inter-municipal Association, approved by its General Assembly on 13 February 2025, has been published. The primary change is the incorporation of the Sant Miquel de Balenyà Decentralised Municipal Entity and the municipality of Collsuspina (Art. 1). The reform adapts the representation structure to allow for the accession of decentralised municipal entities and regulates their participation in the General Assembly (Art. 8 and 9).
For the municipalities and decentralised entities that comprise the association, the regulation formalises its new compositional structure (Art. 1). The Sant Miquel de Balenyà Decentralised Municipal Entity must designate its representatives (President and members of the Neighbourhood Council) through its Plenary to participate in the General Assembly (Art. 9). Furthermore, the possibility for other decentralised municipal entities to join in the future is established (Art. 1).
