Publication of official mortgage market reference interest rates for August 2026

The Bank of Spain has published the official reference interest rates for August 2026. An average rate of 3.134% has been set for mortgage loans exceeding three years for the purchase of non-subsidised housing in Spain, and an average rate of 3.570% for housing loans between one and five years within the euro area (Annex 8 of Bank of Spain Circular 5/2012).
