The Ministry of Culture has awarded the 2026 National Prize for Best Cultural Editorial Work to the publishing house Astiberri Ediciones (Astisendo Grupo Editorial, S.L). The decision follows the verdict of the Jury appointed via Order CLT/244/2026 and adheres to the procedure established in the call for entries under Order CLT/183/2026. The award recognises the publisher's contribution to the comic book industry and its commitment to high-quality formats and auteur-driven works.
The regulation is purely declaratory and serves as institutional recognition; therefore, it does not create any obligations, rights, or economic burdens for the publishing sector or other companies. The effect is limited to the prestige and public recognition of the awardee (Astiberri Ediciones) within the framework of the Ministry of Culture's National Prizes.
