Activities in the Derelicto Illes Formigues II: prohibition of anchoring, discharges and underwater infrastructure

The Government of Catalonia has declared the Derelicto Illes Formigues II as a cultural asset of national interest under the archaeological zone category (Art. 1). The measure establishes a protection perimeter comprising the core of the site and a 25-metre peripheral buffer (Annex 2). Strict restrictions are imposed on research activities, vessel anchoring, and the installation of underwater infrastructure to ensure heritage conservation (Art. 2).
