Almaraz Nuclear Power Plant: Operating licence for Units I and II extended until 2030

Order TED/864/2026 grants the renewal of the operating licence for the Almaraz Nuclear Power Plant, Units I and II. The new validity period extends until 8 June 2030 for both units, in accordance with the current Periodic Safety Review (PSR). This decision is based on a favourable report from the Nuclear Safety Council (CSN) and complies with the Regulation on nuclear and radioactive installations approved by Royal Decree 1217/2024.
