Beneficiary companies: granting of regional incentives for investment projects and modification of existing file conditions

The Government Delegated Commission for Economic Affairs has agreed to grant regional incentives for investment projects covered under Law 50/1985 (Annex I). Additionally, it has resolved to modify the conditions of previously granted investment files (Annex II), adjusting investment data, subsidy amounts, and the number of jobs to be created. Individual notification of these conditions will be carried out through the competent autonomous communities (Art. Third.1).

In 3 key points

  1. Granting of regional incentives based on the amounts, investment, and jobs detailed in Annex I (Primero)
  2. Modification of investment, subsidy, and job creation data in previously granted files (Annex II) (Segundo)
  3. Notification of general and specific conditions through individual resolutions via the autonomous community (art. Tercero.1)

How it affects those involved

For companies listed in Annex I, this formalises the receipt of regional incentives aimed at promoting economic activity in specific economic promotion zones. For companies in Annex II, the resolution implies a change in previously agreed investment commitments, subsidy amounts, or job creation targets. Companies must monitor the individual notification they will receive via their respective autonomous community to ascertain their specific conditions (Art. Third.1).
