Livestock firms: 30-day deadline to update reproductive product records or face up to €1,500 per product fines

Royal Decree 536/2026 amends Royal Decree 429/2022 by setting a 30-day deadline for updating reproductive product registrations. Firms must record each commercialised product according to the new format in Annex I. Non-compliance fines amount to €1,500 per unregistered product (art. 9).

Livestock businesses selling reproductive products must update their records within 30 days or face fines of up to €1,500 per product (art. 9). Health authorities may verify compliance through audits. Non-compliance risk increases in operations with high product turnover.
