Drivers of road vehicles must complete distance or in-person training within 6 months, with 6-month adaptation period

The Real Decree 487/2026 revokes the Resolution of 23 July 2020 and modifies driver training regulations, requiring distance or in-person training. A new Chapter IX on continuous training is added and the Directive (UE) 2022/2561 is transposed. Training deadlines are set at 6 months from entry into force (art. 2, 4, 11, 18, 20, 21).
