Ministry of Finance: establishment of the Integrity Committee and regulation of anti-fraud control bodies and information systems

Order HAC/608/2026 establishes the internal control structure of the Ministry of Finance through the creation of the Integrity Committee and the regulation of the Anti-Fraud Committee and the Internal Information System Commission. This provision is issued in accordance with Royal Decree 206/2024 and Royal Decree 1230/2023 to strengthen administrative organisation and the fight against fraud (ref. BOE index).

In 2 key points

  1. Establishment of the Integrity Committee to determine its composition and functions (Título I)
  2. Regulation of the Anti-Fraud Committee and the Internal Information System Commission (Título II y III)

How it affects those involved

The regulation has a primarily internal impact on the Public Administration, affecting the organisation and governance of the Ministry of Finance. It does not impose direct obligations, tax burdens, or new procedures for companies, the self-employed, or individuals, but rather redefines the Ministry's own supervision and transparency bodies (ref. BOE index).
