Pilotage services in the Port of Maó: update to maximum applicable tariffs

The Port Authority of the Balearic Islands has approved an update to the maximum tariffs for pilotage services in the Port of Maó, following a periodic review due to cost variations (Prescription 20, section d). This measure modifies the tariff schedules established in the current Particular Specifications Document for said port. The resolution is issued in the exercise of the powers delegated by the Port Authority's Board of Directors.

In 3 key points

  1. The tariff update enters into force on the day following its publication in the BOE (Resolución de 21 de noviembre de 2025)
  2. One-month period to file an optional administrative appeal for reversal (Resolución de 21 de noviembre de 2025)
  3. Two-month period to file a contentious-administrative appeal (Resolución de 21 de noviembre de 2025)

How it affects those involved

For shipping operators and users of pilotage services in the Port of Maó, this resolution entails the application of new tariff schedules updated by cost. Interested parties have one month to file an optional administrative appeal for reversal with the Port Authority, or two months to file a contentious-administrative appeal before the High Court of Justice of the Balearic Islands.
