Producers of commercial varieties: 3 months to adapt to new quality standards

The APA/584/2026 Order amends Annexes I and VII of the Commercial Variety Registration Regulation (Royal Decree 170/2011) to implement EU Directive (UE) 2025/2449, setting new quality standards for plants, horticultural products and vegetable production. This affects commercialisers of protected varieties, who must adjust their processes to meet the new specifications to ensure agricultural product quality and traceability.
