IES María Sarmiento recognised as a training centre for Merchant Navy and STCW certification

The Directorate General of the Merchant Navy has recognised IES María Sarmiento (Viveiro, Lugo) to deliver the Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle in Coastal Navigation and Fishing (Art. 16 RD 269/2022). The centre is authorised to provide training leading to the acquisition of qualifications, professional cards, and certificates of proficiency in accordance with the STCW Convention (Art. 60 RD 269/2022).
