Children of rural teachers: deadline 31 October 2026 to apply for Agricultural Engineering scholarships

MUFACE has announced up to four one-off scholarships of €221.25 each for Higher Agricultural Engineering studies or an equivalent degree for the 2026/2027 academic year (chap. 1). The grants are funded by the 'Legado Casado de la Fuente' and will be awarded based on academic merit (chap. 1). The application period begins the day after the publication of the resolution and ends on 31 October 2026 (chap. 3).

How it affects those involved

Children or orphans of primary and secondary school teachers who have worked in rural areas (towns with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants) have the opportunity to obtain financial aid for specific technical studies (chap. 2). The application must be submitted by the entitled member for their child, or by the deceased in the case of orphanhood (chap. 1). The decision on the application will be issued within a maximum of four months after the application deadline closes (chap. 6.1).
