Fashion designers: 15 working days to submit applications for the 2026 National Fashion Design Award

The Ministry of Culture has announced the 2026 National Fashion Design Award, intended to recognise the meritorious work of individuals or creative collectives (art. 1.3). Award recipients may be those with work published during 2025 or those with an established professional career (art. 1.1). The prize consists of a non-divisible grant of 30,000 euros (art. 2.1 and 2.2).

In 3 key points

  1. A single, indivisible grant of 30,000.00 euros, art. 2.1 and 2.2 (art. 2.1)
  2. A deadline of 15 working days for the submission of proposals from the date of publication, art. 5 (art. 5)
  3. Entry into force on the day following its publication in the BOE, ninth provision (disp. novena)

How it affects those involved

For fashion industry professionals and creative collectives, this call allows access to a 30,000 euro grant through the submission of duly reasoned proposals (art. 3 and 5). The selection process is conducted by a specialised jury, and the award does not involve the transfer of the author's intellectual property rights (art. 3.1 and 6).
