Current position

To apply the 30% reduction, the income must have a generation period exceeding two years. This requires that the income be linked to seniority in the company of at least that period and that the agreement or contract establishing it also exceeds two years. Likewise, this reduction must not have been applied to other similar income in the previous five tax periods, and the amount must not exceed 300,000 euros.

The DGT's position remains constant regarding the seniority requirements for the 30% reduction. The rulings reiterate the need for both the seniority in the company and the agreement to exceed two years. No doctrinal changes are observed, except for the mention of amount limits in the most recent rulings.
