IRPF · exención por reinversión

Reinvestment exemption may apply when using proceeds from the sale of a primary residence to acquire remaining ownership shares in another property.

A taxpayer sold her primary residence and intends to use the proceeds to purchase her siblings' shares in an inherited property to establish it as her new residence. The Directorate General for Tax (DGT) has ruled that this allows for the application of the reinvestment exemption, provided that the residency requirements for both properties are met.

The question raised

The DGT's ruling
